The Program

 

This copyrighted curriculum is about teaching school children K-8, parents and school personel how to plan ahead and avoid dangers.   

It covers what to look for, how to avoid, and how to recover from an unsafe situation.

My Presentation for children:
With my presentation I include:

  • Handouts for parents/teachers (Spanish and English)
  • Take home materials for children and parents to review (including recommended websites to promote child safety)
  • Interactive activities for the students
  • Visual materials
  • School office send-home materials/ Sample Program schedules

I also offer presentations specifically for training your school’s safety mentor.  (Separate Charge) 


Parent/ Staff Presentation:
(Usually presented the evening prior to the school presentations)  

  • What strategies will their students be taught?
  • What can Parents/Teachers/Staff do to ensure the child’s safety?

  • Strategies for setting family/Classroom/School guidelines/ where is safe?

Pricing: 2007-2008
The costs for presentations can vary, plus any mileage and travel expenses. Please contact me for availablilty and pricing.

For Districts with yearly contracts, priority will be used in setting up your dates.
